Liberty Hill residents came out May 3 to vote for two City Council members, a Liberty Hill ISD board seat and the city's mayor.
Liberty Hill mayor
Incumbent Mayor Crystal Mancilla defended her seat against challenger Devin Vyner. Mancilla showed 58.86% of the vote in early results compared to Vyner's 41.14%.
Liberty Hill City Council Place 4
In the race for Liberty Hill City Council Place 4, challenger Elisabeth Brown overtook incumbent Amanda Young. Brown won the seat with 54.55% of the vote while 45% supported Young.
Liberty Hill City Council Place 6
Logan Yarborough and Tim Hennessy faced off for the newly established City Council Place 6. The seat was created when Liberty Hill shifted to a home rule charter in 2024. Hennessy will now be the first councilmember in the position, winning the vote with 60.51% to Yarborough's 39.49%.
Liberty Hill ISD board of trustees Place 7
Voters also decided on new board members for Liberty Hill ISD. Place 7 board member Megan Parsons faced a challenge from local business owner Cyndi Hauser. Parsons retained her seat, taking 68.77% of the vote to Hauser's 31.23%.
Elsewhere in LHISD, Kristi Hargrove ran unopposed to retain her seat in Place 6.
