The fast-casual Mediterranean chain Cava is slated to open its first location in Leander at the new Southbrook Station retail center, per a project registration with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

While Cava representatives did not immediately confirm details for the project, the TDLR registration states that construction on the 2,520 square foot space is expected to be complete by September.

According to its website, Cava has over 300 locations across the U.S., with 70 in Texas. The restaurant serves a variety of customizable bowls, pita sandwiches, salads, sides and desserts.
