Leander is set to get its first Shake Shack location in 2027, according to Kate DeMarco, brand communications manager for the company.

On the menu

The Shake Shack menu is stacked with burgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken bites, hot dogs, fries and shakes.

The ShackBurger features a beef patty with American cheese, lettuce, tomato and Shack Sauce on a potato bun. Patrons also have the option to get their handhelds lettuce wrapped or on a gluten free bun.

The chain restaurant also has several seasonal dessert options to choose from, including specialty shakes made with cane sugar and cage free eggs, according to the website. Mainstay flavors include chocolate, strawberry and vanilla shakes, root beer and creamsicle floats and vanilla or chocolate frozen custard.


Dig deeper

Construction on the burger and shake chain is slated to begin later this year, wrapping up in early 2027, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing. The build out is expected to take place along the 183A Toll Frontage Road, costing an estimated $1 million.
