A new game room is opening in Leander on Sept. 19.

Ketta’s Social aims to create a Vegas-style experience in Central Texas, according to owner Tersea Vota.
The social club will offer slots, video poker and other games across more than 40 machines. The location is not permitted to serve liquor, but patrons can bring their own alcohol while playing.
The club is for ages 18 and up, and a free membership is required to play.

Vota named the parlor after her mother, Ketta, to pay tribute to her warm and welcoming nature.
“She was a big influence in my life, and I wanted to honor her by carrying forward the values she instilled in me—kindness, connection and bringing people joy,” Vota said.
Vota said she wants to use the new space to give back to the community.
“We want to use this as a way to support local causes, charities and people in need, so the success of the game room turns into a direct benefit for Leander itself,” she said. “This is about fun, connection and giving back in a real way.”
