The facility offers cricket coaching and training programs and lane rentals. Players can participate in beginner, intermediate or advanced programs and personalized coaching.

2. Adventures in Ink

The new business sells comics, graphic novels, clothing, toys and more. Customers are welcome to participate in tabletop gaming at the store as well. Owner Eli Roberts said some of his favorite childhood memories include walking from school to nearby shopping centers and browsing comics. He hopes to create a similar atmosphere for the Leander community.


Building Little Brains

Founded by Bailey Kafer and Kelsi Knife, the monthly subscription service sends out kits that include creative play and skill-building tasks, sensory and motor function activities and more. The business ships around the country and offers porch pickup and local delivery in Liberty Hill.

3. Drawn2Art

The business offers art sessions for ages 4-12, teens and adults with fine art drawing and painting lessons. Ages 4-6 participate in one-hour lessons and ages 7 and older participate in one and a half hour lessons in small group settings.

Founded by Leander residents Sheela Rodrigues and Sharon Kuriakose the online chef service provides customers with the opportunity to book chefs for event or meal prepping. Individuals can go on the business’ website and select a chef, menu and date for the cooking arrangement.

4. Pork Booty ATX

Owned by Adrian and Sandra Villarroel, the food truck provides a menu filled with artisan charcoal barbecue. Entrees include a Leah Hawaiian Sandwich, Bourbon Brisket Sandwich and Pork Booty Loaded Fries with smoked roasted pork, aioli, barbecue sauce and melted mild cheddar cheese.

5. Shoot 360

The business offers personalized coaching using advanced technology, including motion-tracking cameras to gather data and provide real-time feedback. Players can learn ball-handling, shooting and decision-making skills.


6. Teddy Bear Pediatrics & Sleep Medicine

The facility offers a range of services from check-up visits, same-day appointments for sick visits and sleep disturbance visits to behavioral consultations and school or camp physicals. Dr. Minal Patel is the physician at the practice and is a board certified pediatrician specializing in sleep medicine, as stated on the office’s website.

7. The Skate Gym

The 2,000 square foot facility offers multiple ramps, half pipes, rails and banked pyramids to help skaters of all ages and skill levels learn to skateboard in a safe and supervised environment. The gym has five coaches who offer one-on-one instruction or group classes for both kids and adults, and an on-site skate shop.

8. Lava Cafe & Hookah Lounge

The business will operate as a restaurant during the day, serving coffee and breakfast in the morning followed by Mediterranean food in the afternoon and evening. The storefront will also feature a hookah lounge where people can socialize. The hookah lounge will be bring-your-own-bottle.

9. Paris Baguette

The international bakery cafe chain will serve French-inspired cakes, pastries, sandwiches and premium coffee. The Leander franchise is owned by Sushma Koritala, who has a background in the IT industry. Paris Baguette is planning to expand its footprint in North America with over 100 new cafes opening in 2025, Koritala said.

10. Leander Senior Activity Center

Leander’s Senior Activity Center is expected to open in Summer 2025, and as of city council’s Feb. 20 meeting, it’s set to include a voting center. Council approved a $9,250 amendment to the city’s contract with architecture firm PGAL to provide for redesign services for the project.
