My Chez Space, a new e-store offering prefabricated units, launched in January.

Based in the Leander and Liberty Hill area, My Chez Space builds and sells affordable, efficient and durable prefabricated units. Prefabricated, or prefab, units are manufactured off site in a factory as opposed to being built on site.

Units or buildings at My Chez Space range from 300-400 square feet. Under the My Chez Space brand are three different product lines—Chez View, Chez Flex and Contractor/DIY units—which can all accommodate different customer needs.

The business is owned by local couple Darren and Becca Christensen. The Christensens said prefabricated construction is less intrusive and saves clients time and money on their projects.
