After originally being scheduled to open in September, new local coffee shop Forrest Coffee House is anticipated to open in December due to construction-related setbacks, co-owner Justin McGuire said.

Owned by couples Justin and Tina McGuire, and Nathan and Rachel Curley, the business will offer coffee, tea, beer, wine, baked goods and appetizer-style shareables.
