After coaching in multiple countries, organizing a successful after-school program and realizing that his path was sharing the game of golf, founder and CEO Aaron Bergman established Golfinity in July 2022.

“It was an amazing thing; we were doing exactly what we set out to do, which is share golf with the community [and] get people interested in the game who might not otherwise engage,” he said. “Slowly and surely, we became a family golf school, and that just grew very organically.”

Located in Northwest Austin, Golfinity specializes in golfing lessons, practice sessions, training and wellness programs, club memberships, summer camps, club fitting services and leisure play. The 20,000-square-foot indoor performance club offers a comprehensive golf experience through an internal putting green and 21 simulated bays featuring technology for game development and improvement.

Due to Golfinity having partnerships with Leander ISD, Round Rock ISD and Austin ISD, the club has a more centralized location with the thought in mind to be an access point for the school districts and its members.

“We centralized Golfinity so that the schools ultimately can feed in,” investor Paulo Silva said. “[Because] the proximity to this actual location, we really attract everyone from Steiner Ranch all the way up north.”

Since opening last year, the business has grown to roughly 900 members, Silva said, and now that Golfinity has an events component, the facility has done over 100 events in the first six months of operation. Golfinity’s restaurant and bar have also garnered a lot of interest, causing the club to introduce a to-go service.

The idea of Golfinity being blended with business, social and developmental components makes it a “one-stop shop,” setting the club apart from others. Bergman said the facility is a “fusion of entertainment, work and the overall social development aspect.”

With the community element being a large part of Golfinity’s mission, Bergman said the business is heavily tied into the surrounding school districts through supporting and sponsoring parent teacher associations, and last year, the club donated to over 55 charitable organizations.

“We love to give back. ... We contribute to spirit nights, silent auctions, booster clubs, PTAs—all of those elements go hand in hand with Golfinity,” Silva said.

Golfinity is looking to expand in other communities. Bergman said the goal this year is to have three new markets in development, but the locations are not yet pinned down.

Silva said the most important thing for Golfinity is to not lose sight of the club’s original mission.

“The most important message [is] ... we don’t want to lose sight of the fact that our mission started with bridging the gap of a sport with young adults,” he said. “Everything we do, all the services we offer, is to ensure that theme and that initial vision stays intact.”
