Kimberly Waltmon will be the new principal of Canyon Ridge Middle School, Leander ISD Superintendent Dan Troxell announced June 1.

Waltmon spent her entire career in education within the district, including starting as a special education teacher at Giddens Elementary in 2006, assistant principal at Stiles Middle School from 2012-15 and is now serving as the principal of Parkside Elementary, according to a statement from the district.
