As the holidays approach, shoppers may be looking for gift ideas for their loved ones. In our Gift Guide, locally owned shops in Austin, Cedar Park and Leander offer suggestions for holiday gift items for men, women, children and pets.

Danny’s Barbershop 

Danny’s Barbershop A mustache grooming kit ($15) includes a small comb and set of scissors.[/caption]

Danny’s Barbershop Styling gels ($14) come in two different varieties of 16-ounce canisters.[/caption]

The barbershop sells hair products such as styling gels, texture cream and mustache grooming kits. Gift cards can be loaded with credit for shaves and haircuts for men as well as women’s hair care, such as shampooing, highlighting and coloring.

The Leander store showcases personalization of many gift items, such as flasks, pocketknives, mugs, door hangers and photo frames. E-cigarettes and supplies are also available. Employees make woodcuts for decoration, toys or three-dimensional puzzles.

Delysia Chocolatier Molded chocolate is available in seasonal shapes such as gift boxes, Santa Claus and Christmas trees ($12).[/caption]

Holiday-themed gifts at the shop include molded chocolate turkeys and Christmas trees as well as candy bark in gingerbread, egg nog and peppermint flavors. The store also sells truffles in hot cocoa, candy cane and sugar cookie flavors.

Shady Oaks Gun Range 

Shady Oaks Gun Range Shady Oaks Gun Range in Cedar Park offers 10 indoor, 25-yard shooting lanes with adjustable lighting.[/caption]

Customers may purchase gift certificates in increments of $25, $50 and $100. Gift cards for one to 11 range sessions are also offered. A $50 certificate would cover one lesson, except for tax. Customers can bring their own firearms or choose from a selection of rentals.

Sweet Shack Candy Shop 

Sweet Shack Candy Shop Local candies include ornament desserts ($18), available in salted caramel, peanut butter and bourbon pecan flavors.[/caption]

The candy store features locally made foods, such as cookies and peppermint bark from Fox Confections, candy bars from No Cow Chocolate and caramels from Coover Caramels in Cedar Park. Customers can choose gift baskets or stocking stuffers such as vintage candies, which are sold by weight. The store also stocks novelty gifts and candies such as 5-pound gummy bears.

Time Masters 

Time Masters Time Masters, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2016, offers watch and clock repair as well as other gifts.[/caption]

The watch and clock repair shop doubles as a gift store, selling items such as puzzles; candles; and chess sets with Civil War, World War II and Crusades themes. The business also sells watches for men and women as well as collegiate accessories. Other items such as holiday-themed notepads and reading glasses are also available.
