Tiff’s Treats plans April 30 grand opening in Cedar Park

Tiff’s Treats will host a grand opening for its first Cedar Park store Saturday, April 30 before the store officially opens Sunday, May 1.

The store is located in front of At Home in Cedar Park Town Center at 4701 Toll 183A, Ste. B.

Tiff’s Treats president Tiffany Chen said the new location is a response to Cedar Park’s growth.

“We can see Cedar Park just exploding in popularity,” Chen said. “We [deliver in]Cedar Park with a courier service from our north Austin location. So we have a lot of customers already out there. … This will probably be the most suburban or residential area where we’ve ever opened.”

The new location will provide residents with cheaper rates and quicker deliveries, she said.

Cedar Park’s store will also feature an appearance that is unique to all Tiff’s Treats locations. Chen said other Tiff’s Treats locations have two different schemes, blue and gray modern or urban industrial. The new store’s interior will have warm and neutral colors, such as brown.

“It’s going to be the first time that we’ve done this particular look for a store,” Chen said.

The store’s official opening is scheduled for 10 a.m. May 1. Regular hours will be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 10 a.m.-9 p.m.

Jeff Sartor, executive vice president of marketing for Tiff’s Treats, said the Cedar Park store will help Tiff’s Treats plan how to open future stores in similar suburban areas.

“We are planning on opening up more stores this year as well as next year and into the future,” Sartor said. “We’re not done opening stores in Texas.”

The Cedar Park store will be the 22nd location for the Austin-based company. The 21st store will open in The Woodlands Saturday, April 16, two weeks before the Cedar Park store opens.

Grand opening event

Tiff’s Treats will host a grand opening event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30, before the Cedar Park store officially opens Sunday, May 1.

Event attendees can purchase a dozen fresh cookies for $5 in three flavors, one flavor for each box, including chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin and snickerdoodle. All cookie sales up to $5,000 will benefit the Neighborhood Longhorns Program. Some attendees who buy cookies will also receive prizes in random boxes of cookies.

The business will award Tiff’s Treats gift cards to the first 40 people in line at 9 a.m.

Three former football players for The University of Texas—Vince Young, Justin Blalock and Kasey Studdard—will join the grand opening to visit with fans and sign autographs.
