Liberty Fest
Celebrate the 4th with free fireworks, vendors and children’s activities at Leander’s Liberty Fest featuring live music by the Josh Abbot Band. Parking is limited to designated areas. Gates open 4:30 p.m. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. The event location is off 183a South between San Gabriel Parkway and Hero Way. www.leandertx.gov
Cedar Park 4th of July celebration and parade
Join the citizens of Cedar Park for a parade, free watermelon, fireworks, live music and assorted yard games to celebrate Independence Day. There will also be carnival rides, food and face painting available for a fee. The parade begins at 10 a.m., starting at H-E-B Center and ending at Cedar Park Recreation Center. Festivities begin at 4 p.m. at Elizabeth Milburn Park, 1901 Sun Chase Blvd., Cedar Park.
