The Cedar Park Planning and Zoning Commission discussed two zoning cases at its meeting Dec. 14.
CEDAR PARK HEALTH SYSTEMS
Cedar Park Health Systems L.P. requested the commercial lot with hospital zoning at 1400 Medical Parkway be split into two commercial lots. The property is the site of Cedar Park Regional Medical Center and when split will create a new site at the southeast corner of the property.
The land, approximately 45 acres, is located on Medical Parkway east of Toll 183A and west of Cottonwood Creek Trail and is the site of Cedar Park Regional Medical Center
The commission recommended approval of the request.
SCOTTSDALE CROSSING EAST
The zoning commission recommended approval of a request to split one commercial lot, zoned general retail with a conditional overlay, into three commercial lots at 1615 Scottsdale Drive, with the condition that all driveways, parking areas, and drive and fire lanes provide access to leave or enter all other lots in the subdivision and adjacent properties.
“There is an approved site plan for [the property as] one lot,” Cedar Park Senior Planner Rachel Tepper said. “So if it’s resubdivided, all three lots must be considered together in terms of access and parking.”
