Municipal offices in Leander, Cedar Park to close for Fourth of July

Several Cedar Park and Leander facilities will be closed July 4 in recognition of the national holiday.

Cedar Park and Leander offices will be closed as well as the public libraries in both cities.

Williamson County offices also will be closed for the day on July 4. The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will be open from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. There will be free adoptions for all animals July 1-4.

The Williamson County Commissioners Court will not meet July 4 and will resume its regular schedule July 11 at 9:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom on the second floor of the historic courthouse, 710 S. Main St., in Georgetown.

Leander ISD's offices will be closed for the week of July 3-7.
