Cedar Park City Council in January amended the intended usage for nine tracts of property in the city’s future land use plan, or FLUP, which acts as a guide for future zoning for properties in the city. All future zoning decisions made by City Council have to conform to the land use plan, but these FLUP changes do not affect the current zoning on the nine properties. According to the city, the zoning would only be changed on these properties if the property owner initiated a rezoning.
