A previous version of this story listed Adam Benefield's total campaign donations as  $16,350, but two of those donations were returned and one amount is not reflected in the total. Benefield said he refused donations for $500 from Central Waste & Recycling and $5,000 from Texas Stronger PAC, which are both reflected in the campaign finance documents, and a $100 dollar donation from the Williamson County Republic Party was not counted. His total contributions are now $10,950.
