Since Charlotte’s Saddlery owners Mark and Missy Raisbeck entered the Austin market in December 2015, the couple has adjusted its offerings to better suit its local customers.

The equestrian business—which sells items for horses and riders, including clothing, riding boots, grooming products, and English and Western saddles—has locations in Houston and Tomball. Mark said the Austin location will begin offering new products including those for its dog section in March. New items will include more collar and leash options as well as treats and toys.

“We’re constantly learning what the Austin market wants,” he said. “We’re adjusting our [products] and show apparel and our outerwear apparel.”

Mark said the store will host its annual three-day sale in the beginning of March, and it will include equestrian brand representatives, food for customers and other activities. In 2015 the sale included an equestrian fashion show, but in 2016, Mark said he wants to make the fashion show a stand-alone event.
