Offices in the cities of Lakeway, Bee Cave, West Lake Hills and Rollingwood have closed Feb. 1 due to the winter weather conditions.

All police administrative offices will also be closed Feb. 1 for West Lake Hills, according to city officials.

As of 9:30 a.m. on Feb.1, the city of Lakeway is reporting several power outages in its jurisdiction and encouraging residents who have an extended outage to call Austin Energy at 512-322-9100 or Pedernales Electric Cooperative at 888-883-3379.

Officials with the city of Bee Cave are reporting the accumulation of ice is causing power outages throughout the area and that it is affecting many neighborhoods and traffic signals.

“If you are in need of a warm place to stay due to an extended outage, please contact the Lakeway Police Department at 512-261-2800. Please only use the police number in an emergency and if you need shelter,” city officials said.


Officials with the cities of West Lake Hills and Rollingwood are also encouraging residents to report power outages to Austin Energy at https://austinenergy.ifactornotifi.com/ui/outage-reporting or by calling 512-322-9100.
