Texas Department of Transportation officials said the intersection at William Cannon Drive and Hwy. 290 will be converted into a four-way intersection in March.
By mid-March, construction activities will require drivers traveling westbound on Hwy. 290 who are wishing to access Hwy. 71 at the Oak Hill Y to go through a signalized intersection.
