Camp Craft Road will close to all traffic between Bee Caves Road and Eanes School Road on Saturday, June 1 at 6 a.m. and remain closed through mid-August to facilitate the installation of a water line and reconstruct the roadway, a press release from the Texas Department of Transportation said.
Work is anticipated to occur Monday through Saturday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with some night work.
All traffic on Bee Caves Road wishing to access Camp Craft Road will be detoured to Westbank Drive, where drivers can access Camp Craft Road from the south, the release said. Drivers who need to access Elsass Academy Westlake and Trinity Episcopal School of Austin will need to do so via Bee Caves Road. Access to all other properties and residential streets will be maintained.
Information from TxDOT states Camp Craft Road is anticipated to re-open to all traffic before the 2019/2020 school year begins, weather permitting.
