Westlake United Methodist Church, located at 1460 Redbud Trail, Westlake Hills, will be celebrating its 50th anniversary on June 4. Church officials said they are excited to honor their history and look forward to the future. The event will begin with a unified service at 11 a.m., followed by a barbecue luncheon in the gymnasium. Brooke Miller joined Community Impact in the summer of 2023 as the Austin metro editorial intern. She is currently a senior at Stephen F. Austin State University pursuing a degree in Mass Communication with a concentration in Advertising and Public Relations. She is also the Editor in Chief of the university paper, The Pine Log.
