Kitchen on the Bend opened March 20 at 3519 N RM 620, Austin. The Italian style restaurant offers pizza, burgers, salads and pasta dishes.

Owners Barret Brannam and J Fowlkes are no strangers to the restaurant industry. The duo owns the nearby eatery, Emerald Point Bar & Grill.

Due to circumstances related to COVID-19 concerns, the restaurant will be open for takeout and curbside pickup only, Mon.-Sat. from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Customers can call in their order and pay over the phone to help minimize contact. The menu can be accessed through the restaurant’s website.

“Our goal is to remain open for business as long as it is safe and possible to do so,” Brannam and Fowlkes said in a press release. “This is extremely important to us, as is the livelihood and well-being of our team members.” 512-428-4744. www.kitchenonthebend.com
