French macarons and classic Venezuelan fare are among the new dining options at Austin’s Barton Creek Square Mall.
Barton Creek Square announced March 12 the addition of four eateries including Four Brothers Venezuelan Kitchen, Potato Guys, The Baked Bear and Le Macaron French Pastries.
“We are thrilled to bring so many new options Barton Creek Square’s dining scene,” general manager Scott Budge said.
Four Brothers Venezuelan Kitchen is now open in the food court of Barton Creek Square. The Austin-based restaurant originated as a family-owned food truck serving authentic Venezuelan food, according to the restaurant. Potato Guys, located in the mall’s upper-level food court, specializes in made-to-order french fries with a variety of flavors options. The eatery also offers a variety of dishes along with its customizable fries. This business does not have a phone number or website.
The Baked Bear is now open in Barton Creek Square on the lower level of the JC Penney Court. The shop serves ice cream cookie creations with over a dozen combination options. Guests can choose an ice cream flavor to pair with a cookie or brownie, with the option to include Oreo crumbles or Fruity Pebbles cereal. 512-300-0167. www.thebakedbear.com
Le Macaron French Pastries celebrated its official grand opening Feb. 3 within Barton Creek Square. The shop, run by Jason Bolsinger, will sell a variety of French macarons, chocolates, pastries and more. In honor of the grand opening event, the shop will be running a special Feb. 3 in which customers can buy three macarons and get one free.
