Texas Street Grill officially closed its doors Jan. 1 at 3519 N. RM 620, Austin. The restaurant, which was formally called 827Ray’s Kitchen + Cellar, underwent a rebranding and remodel in June, and according to a press release on the company’s website, the transition did not go as planned. However, Texas Street Grill announced plans for a new restaurant concept involving its executive chef Wayne Brooks. “Look out for the new vision where plans are being drafted for a stunning outdoor area and improved parking lot,” the release said. 512-266-9445. www.texasstreet.com
