Lakeway’s Steel Magnolia Marketplace will be closing its storefront at 2127 Lohmans Crossing Road, Austin, on Dec. 24, according to a press release from owner Linda Harman. The boutique offers a variety of gifts, primarily stocking products made by female small-business owners. Though the physical location is closing, the business will transition to an online store and will potentially appear in various seasonal markets. Members of the company’s newsletter will continue to receive future updates. Since its opening, Steel Magnolia Marketplace has been able to donate $10,000 to local charities, with support from the community.
