Median home prices for single-family homes in the Lake Travis/Westlake area increased by 4.9 percent to $540,000 year-over-year in the first half of 2017, according to the Austin Board of Realtors' mid-year Central Texas Housing Market Report.  However, the number of single-family homes sold decreased by 0.8 percent year-over-year, with 1,372 total homes sold in 2017 through June.

  • In the city of Bee Cave, the median price of single-family homes sold increased by 3.7 percent year-over-year, reaching $544,500.  Through June, 70 homes sold in Bee Cave, an increase of 11.1 percent compared to the first half of 2016.

  • In Lakeway, the median price of single-family homes sold decreased by 2 percent to $470,000 year-over-year, with 212 homes sold through June, an increase of 0.5 percent.

  • In Rollingwood, the median price of single-family homes increased by 23 percent year-over-year to $1,545,000, with 15 homes sold through June, a 200 percent increase compared to the first half of 2016.

  • West Lake Hills saw the median price of single-family homes sold increase by 25.4 percent year-over-year to $1,357,500, with 20 homes sold through June, a decrease of 28.6 percent.

  • The Village of Briarcliff saw median price of single-family homes reach $343,500, an 11.5 percent year-over-year increase, with 29 homes sold through June, a drop of 27.5 percent.
