The city of Lakeway and the Lakeway Municipal Court will provide amnesty to individuals with outstanding warrants now through Feb. 29.
Individuals with outstanding warrants can check to see if their name is on a list. If an individual has an outstanding warrant, city officials said they can get it touch with the Lakeway Municipal Court by calling 512-314-7560, Extension 8; email [email protected]; or appear in person at the Lakeway Justice Center, located at 104 Cross Creek, Lakeway, during normal business hours.
What else?
If an individual has an active warrant and gets pulled over, they will be given one warning to handle the matter. If the outstanding warrant is not handled, the individual will then be subject to arrest—prior to the March 1 date.
