Lakeway Municipal Judge Kevin Madison swore in new Council Members Kelly Brynteson and Jennifer Szimanski, and returning Council Member Louis Mastrangelo at the May 16 council meeting.

Lakeway Mayor Tom Kilgore also recognized outgoing Council Member Steve Smith. Kilgore said Smith has been known for his steadfast work, coming into office without an agenda and intractable attention to detail. Smith served on the council for four years.

Outgoing Council Member Laurie Higginbotham was not present.
