West Lake Hills City Council members approved an ordinance to cancel the May 2 election, as all three city officials are running unopposed. The office of the mayor was up for election as well as Place 2 and Place 4.

Mayor Linda Anthony and Council Members Brian Plunkett and Darin Walker will continue to serve as city officials.

The final day to file for a place on the ballot was Feb. 14.
