Here are 10 events celebrating LGBTQ+ pride in June around Austin and Dripping Springs.
June 1: Compete in pride-themed musical bingo
Join Get It Gals Trivia at Vacancy Brewing for a pride-themed muzingo, which is a game of bingo in which the player identifies the song played. The event is all ages and dog-friendly. Vacancy Brewing will donate a proceed of draft and can sales to the Austin chapter of PFlag, a nonprofit dedicated to advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community. SXSE Food Co., a contemporary Lao food truck, will be available at the event.

The Austin Motel and Deep Eddy Vodka are hosting “Under the Neon Rainbow: Prom for All” on June 3. The event is hosted by drag queen Cheeki Khant and will feature prizes, drink specials, music by DJ Boyfriend, photo opportunities and the chance to jump into the Austin Motel pool in your prom attire. The event is 21+.

The Big Ole Queer Market will be hosted at the Palmer Events Center on June 3. The market will feature over 120 LGBTQ+ identifying vendors with small, local businesses. The market will feature music, food and shopping. A full list of vendors is available online.

Jo’s Coffee will offer its limited edition La Colombe coffee house blend in a Jo’s pride box at all Jo’s locations and online from June 3 to Aug. 31. For each box sold, $2 will be donated to Equality Texas, a nonprofit organization supporting the LGBTQ+ community. This year, the box was designed by Jo's general manager who is part of the LGBTQ+ community.

Cans that Succ will host a succulent planting class at Vacancy Brewing on June 9. The class will teach how to recycle a can into a planter, and planting a succulent or cactus. Every ticket will provide a choice of succulent or cactus, a limited-edition, pride-themed can, rocks, soil and tools to plant. Vacancy Brewing will also provide a pint with each ticket. A new class will run every 30 minutes throughout the event.

Waterloo Greenway will host its Rainbow on the Creek event to celebrate Pride Month. The family-friendly event will include live music, performances and exhibits from LGBTQ+ business and nonprofits.

Vacancy Brewing will host a Pride night June 10 with music by DJ Lucia Beyond, glitter beer and dancing. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Austin chapter of PFlag. Vacancy Brewing is located in the Yard, in the St. Elmo District and includes a lineup of seasonal beers on tap.

The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center will host a Pride day event June 11, featuring drag performances, bracelet making, story time, bingo and a hike. The event is both family-friendly and dog-friendly.

The Austin Central Library is hosting Pride Prom on June 16, a 1920s-themed dance that will feature drag performances and the Queer Vinyl Collective. The event is recommended for 18+.

The third annual Pride of Dripping Springs festival will take place at Ranch Park on June 24. Sponsored by the city of Dripping Springs, the event promotes diversity and awareness of the LGBTQ+ community in the city. The family-friendly daytime event includes live music, shopping, food, drinks and children’s activities sponsored by the YMCA. The After Dark show, for adults only, will feature drag and burlesque performances.
