The Westlake Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual family-friendly holiday event, Westlake Wonderfest, on Dec. 5. Presented by H-E-B, the event is free and runs from 1-3 p.m. in the West Lake High School Chaparral Stadium Parking Lot located at 4100 Westbank Drive, Austin.

Over 40 booths from the Westlake small business community will be at the event hosting family activities for all ages with free food and games, balloon artists, face painters and more. There will also be a petting zoo, a bounce house, live music and the holiday express train. The event benefits Mobile Loaves and Fishes, and will provide bins for visitors to donate new or gently used jackets, bedding, white crew socks, hats and sleeping bags.

“This holiday tradition provides an opportunity for our small businesses to support the residents of our community and vice versa," Westlake Chamber Executive Director Cathy Hoover said in a press release. "At a time when it’s important to focus on keeping our dollars local, Wonderfest gives our chamber members the access to promote their business directly to our residents.”

Santa Claus will enter on a fire truck and be present to receive holiday wishes from visitors. Free food will be provided by local restaurants, including Hat Creek Burger Co., Amy's Ice Cream, i Fratelli Pizza, Pinkberry, Trianon Coffee and others. The Westlake Hills Dental Arts booth will also be hosting a raffle for a Zoom Whitening in-office treatment or a Philips Sonicare 9900 Prestige Electric Toothbrush. There will also be a holiday market for local businesses to sell gift items.

The event is sponsored by The Covert Auto Group, Benchmark Bank, Baylor Scott & White, American Bank, myPoint.TV, and Coldwell Banker David Pruitt. Guests can visit the chamber's website or call 512-327-3088 for more information.
