Candidate Robert Scott Aird filed for the Place 6 position on the Lake Travis ISD board of trustees, while Keely Ann Cano filed for the Place 7 position.
Place 6 Trustee William Beard withdrew his application for re-election.
Marco Alvarado, Lake Travis ISD executive director of communications and community relations, said in the past with uncontested seats on the Lake Travis ISD board of trustees, the school board will likely vote to cancel the May 6 election.
“However, that will require official board action at an upcoming meeting,” Alvarado said.
