Three seats on the Lake Travis ISD board of trustees will be on the ballot for voters come May.

The LTISD board voted to call a May 3 election for Places 3, 4 and 5 at its Jan. 15 meeting.

On the ballot

Erin Archer, school board president and Place 3 board member, is the owner of Mosquito Authority Austin and was elected to the board in 2022. Place 4 board member John Aoueille, who works in insurance and risk management, was appointed to the board in 2015, according to district information. Place 5 board member Kim Flasch has served on the board since 2013 and has experience in finance and accounting.

Archer told Community Impact she plans to run for re-election, while Aoueille said he was undecided as of Jan. 22. After more than 10 years on the board, Flasch said she will not seek re-election in May.

“As much as I have enjoyed serving LTISD for the past 12 years, it is time for me to step down,” Flasch said in an email. “It has been a privilege and honor to serve our community.”
