Parents in Lake Travis ISD can now register their students for after-school classes set to begin Feb. 5.

The gist

The registration period for the district’s spring enrichment classes is open through Jan. 22. The fee-based, after-school programs are available for elementary, middle and high school students at district campuses throughout the year. Programs are taught by district teachers and contractors, said Marco Alvarado, LTISD executive director of communications and community relations.

The classes are meant to supplement the instructional day for students and provide options for working parents who are unable to pick up their students right away, Alvarado said.

Spring classes will begin during the week of Feb. 5 and end in April, according to the district’s schedule. Late registration runs from Jan. 23-26 and includes a $35 late fee. Class fees vary by program, Alvarado said.
