Lake Travis ISD will proceed with efforts to secure a 25-acre parcel of land located off Bee Creek Road for future facilities following action taken at the March 23 school board meeting.

The land will be paid for out of the district’s 2018 bond and is located near Lake Travis Middle School, off the roundabout at Bee Creek Road and Highlands Boulevard.

The action approved at the meeting allows the superintendent or designee to notify the county of their intent and negotiate a purchase sale agreement for the land, which is owned by Travis County, according to district documents. A final purchase sale agreement will be presented before the school board if negotiations are successful.
