Each academic year, the Texas Education Agency compiles enrollment data for each public school district, including information on enrollment and demographics. The following is information on school districts in the Lake Travis-Westlake area.

Student enrollment

Lake Travis ISD and Leander ISD have both seen annual enrollment increases since the 2016-17 school year. Neighboring Eanes ISD has experienced a much slower increase: EISD’s enrollment total has grown by 74 students since 2016. Enrollment data for the 2020-21 school year reflects district’s projections and can change heading into the school year.

Salary statistics

TEA provides district data for both teacher and superintendent salaries. Among Lake Travis-Westlake school districts, LTISD had the highest superintendent salary for the 2019-20 academic year. However, the data provided does not reflect the salary of current LTISD Superintendent Paul Norton, who was welcomed by the district in August.

Editor's note: The average base pay for teaching staff for Eanes, Lake Travis and Leander ISDs has been corrected from the version included in Community Impact Newspaper’s October 2020 print edition for Lake Travis-Westlake.

Student statistics

As compared to statewide averages, Eanes, Lake Travis and Leander ISDs all serve smaller portions of economically disadvantaged students and English language learners.
