Lake Travis and Eanes ISDs have both received A ratings from the Texas Education Agency in its annual assessment of schools released Aug. 15.
TEA employed an A-F grading system but also numerically
scored LTISD at a 94 for the 2018-19 school year, which was the same score the district received for the 2017-18 school year.
Eanes ISD received a 96 out of 100, constituting a one point raise from the 2017-18 school year.
Schools within each district were also given individual grades, with A ratings going to Hudson Bend Middle, Lake Pointe Elementary, Lake Travis High and Lakeway Elementary schools.
Bee Cave Elementary, Lake Travis Elementary and Lake Travis Middle schools all received B ratings.
For Eanes ISD, Barton Creek Elementary, Bridge Point Elementary, Cedar Creek Elementary, Eanes Elementary, Forest Trail Elementary and Hill Country Middle schools all received A ratings, and Valley View Elementary received a B rating.
The TEA report also graded the districts in Student Achievement, School Progress and Closing the Gap, for which LTISD was given an A, a B and an A, respectively, and EISD was given all A's.
