Three area students received Project SEARCH graduation certificates for their achievements.

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Lakeway hosted a graduation ceremony May 18 for local young adults with disabilities that participated in the Project SEARCH program.

Courtlan Stanfill, Alex Staley-Nitka and Quinn Reich were recognized at the ceremony.

Project SEARCH is a national internship program that students with disabilities complete during their last year of high school. The program includes training, career exploration and job coaching. Students receive three targeted internships on a rotating basis, learning skills for entry-level employment with assistance from mentors and job coaches.

Baylor Scott & White-Lakeway was a host business site for the Project SEARCH program in the area, working with Lake Travis ISD and Eanes ISD to provide internship opportunities to students.

All three students found employment prior to graduation.
