The Austin-based bakery Tiny Pies permanently closed its Westlake location on Jan. 18.

"Since opening in 2020, the Westlake location has fulfilled its lease and decided not to renew. This decision is not a reflection of any business challenges, but instead, it is a proactive step to position Tiny Pies for even greater success by creating more opportunities for growth in 2024," co-founder Amanda Wadsworth said in a statement.

The bake shop is known for its sweet pies, breakfast pies and empanadas, all made from scratch.

Other locations include Lamar Union, Burnet Road and Waco, which will all remain open.
