Hudson's Fine Hill Country Dining closed its location at 3509 N. RM 620, Austin, in December.

The restaurant opened in Lakeway in 2018 after replacing Hudson's on the Bend in the same location. Hudson's on the Bend originally opened in 1984 and was owned by chef Jeff Blank. The fine dining restaurant then closed and reopened several times before it officially became Hudson's Fine Hill Country Dining in 2018. The current owners have not said whether the closing will be permanent or temporary.

Hudson's Fine Hill Country Dining served several wild game dishes, including smoked duck and scallops, elk tenderloin, free range lamb rack, and chicken fried venison.
