Calling all Austinites who are not in the mood to cook this holiday season: Here are six Thanksgiving meal packages to preorder now and eight restaurants to dine in on Thanksgiving Day.

Thanksgiving preorder packages

1. Fresa's

Fresa's Chicken is offering two Thanksgiving meal packages this year. The signature roasted turkey meal serves 8-10 people and includes a whole roasted turkey, gravy, citrus-serrano cranberry sauce, chorizo stuffing and a choice of three sides for $315. The second package serves 4-6 and has the same options, except it only includes roasted turkey breast, not an entire turkey, for $215. The eatery is also offering four speciality pies for $36 each. 2. Walton’s Fancy and Staple


Walton’s Fancy and Staple is offering a 10-person Thanksgiving meal package with Cajun-spiced airline turkey breast, gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, brown sugar and rosemary carrots, garlic confit roasted broccoli, white cheddar-herb mac and cheese, cornbread stuffing, and cranberry sauce. Items are priced between $25-$65. Walton’s is also serving whole pies for $25. Orders must be placed by Nov. 21 and picked up on Nov. 22 or Nov. 23. 3. Local Foods

Local Foods is offering Thanksgiving meals made from fresh local ingredients for up to 20 people. They are offering full meals as well as boxed lunches, group salads, cookie platters and more. Order by emailing [email protected].

4. TLC


TLC is offering a take-home thanksgiving package that serves 8-10 people for $299. The package includes honey-sage basted turkey, citrus-vanilla cranberry sauce, giblet gravy, andouille cornbread stuffing, rosemary garlic mashed potatoes, country-style green beans and Texas pecan pie. 5. Cork & Barrel

Cork & Barrel is offering a Thanksgiving Heat n’ Serve feast this season. The package includes half-roasted turkey breast; mashed potatoes and giblet gravy; a yam bake with walnuts, pineapple and marshmallows; stuffing; cranberry sauce; sauteed green beans; dinner rolls and butter; and pumpkin or pecan pie for $260. 6. Z’Tejas


Z’Tejas is offering a Thanksgiving meal package with sliced pineapple and chipotle roasted turkey, cheesy roasted poblano mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, seasonal veggies, chipotle roasted turkey gravy and cranberry sauce. Restaurants open on Thanksgiving

1. Hyde Park Bar & Grill

Hyde Park Bar & Grill is open this Thanksgiving from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Hyde Park will be serving oven-roasted turkey breast, mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, other traditional Thanksgiving sides and pie. 2. Nido

Nido is offering a four-course meal from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. this Thanksgiving. The meal includes chestnut soup; a fall salad; savory Heritage turkey, stuffing, and honey-roasted cranberries; and a pumpkin tart as well as other traditional side dishes. The meal starts at $85 for adults and $35 for children ages 5-12. Wine pairings will also be available for an additional $50. 3. TLC

4. Kerbey Lane Cafe

Kerbey Lane’s South, Southwest, Round Rock, Mueller and Northwest locations will be open Thanksgiving day from 7 a.m.-10 p.m, offering plates with turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, broccoli and rolls for $16.99 a plate. www.kerbeylanecafe.com

5. Eddie V’s

Both of Eddie V’s Austin locations are open from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Eddie V’s is offering a special menu with slow-roasted turkey, brioche sage stuffing, green beans with sundried tomatoes, mashed potatoes and more. The dinner is $47 for adults and $17 for kids. 7. TR Restaurant & Bar

TR Restaurant & Bar is open on Thanksgiving from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. for brunch and 3-10 p.m. for dinner. TR is serving a buffet-style menu with eggs, pancakes, waffles, avocado toast and other items for breakfast, and a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Brunch is $55 for adults and $25 for kids. 8. Truluck’s

Truluck’s is open from noon-9 p.m. downtown and from 11 a.m.-8p.m. at the Arboretum on Thanksgiving. They will be serving their full regular menu, plus a turkey plate that costs $59 for adults and $25 for kids age 12 and under. Truluck’s is also offering a leftover box with Thanksgiving turkey and sides to take home at $25 a box.
