Colby Crelia is a conceptual artist and musician. Lindsey Crelia’s background is in family therapy and nonprofit work. Though restaurant ownership may seem like an unusual next step, the Crelias see their restaurant—the new Wild Kitchen + Bar in Bee Cave—as a natural extension of their interests.

With a focus on creative and high-quality menus featuring locally sourced produce and wild game served in a carefully designed restaurant meant to balance the modern and the natural, Lindsey said Wild is intended to fill a noticeable gap in the Bee Cave area.

“We wanted a place where parents could come for really good food and cocktails and a nice ambience, the whole experience, but not be nervous their kids would throw something on the floor,” Crelia said.

The restaurant also features rentable party rooms and more private seating for guests who would prefer a quieter date night, Front of House Manager Anthoney Farmer-Guerre said.

Wild is meant to balance casual, upscale dining with family fun—there is even a miniature golf course on the property along with a natural playground for younger guests.

And the Crelias say they are focused on giving back to the local community in other ways as well, paying all staff a living wage and carefully sourcing local ingredients, such as the venison and Wagyu beef featured on their menu, which was designed by Executive Chef Steve Nelson.

Wild Kitchen + Bar is open for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. It features scratch-made dishes and cocktails made with house-infused liquors. Two party rooms can be reserved and seat a total of 38 people.

“We’re really excited to be able to fill this niche in the community,” Lindsey said. “And we’re going to stay family-minded and really respond to what guests are looking for.”
