R.O.’s Outpost BBQ celebrated its 20th anniversary in September, co-owner Randy Osban said. The food truck serves smoked meats and pies made by his wife, co-owner Kathy Leverett.

Osban said he wants to focus on encouraging customers to call ahead with their orders in 2016 so they do not have to be subjected to poor weather conditions while they wait for their food to be prepared.

He said the restaurant’s most popular items include smoked turkey, smoked brisket and Leverett’s chocolate meringue pie.

“We love what we do, and we do a really good product,” Osban said. “We have a great customer base because I let my food do the talking.”
