The Lake Travis Community Library reopened its doors to the public May 3 to offer limited services amid the pandemic.

The library serves communities in the Lake Travis region including Lakeway, The Hills of Lakeway, Spicewood, Hudson Bend and Braircliff.

In an effort to protect the health of the community, precautions including masks and social distancing will be required for visitors, who will also be encouraged to abide by a 30-minute time limit, according to the library.

Additionally, seating will not be available within the library and in-person meetings, gatherings and study spaces will be halted.

However, visitors can now access the library’s public computers, which will be limited to ensure social distancing.

The Lake Travis library will continue to accommodate curbside services, digital content and virtual programs, which can be accessed through the library’s website.

Community members can also find a full-list of operation updates and coronavirus precautions online.
