Travis County set a new record June 17 with 220 confirmed coronavirus cases, the highest single-day count the area has seen since the start of the pandemic.

The county also reported the total number of deaths at 108 as of June 17. There have also been an estimated 3,817 recoveries out of 4,991 total COVID-19 cases.

Out of the 4,991 confirmed cases, 246 have been identified with the Lake Travis-Westlake area, which comprises nine ZIP codes in western Travis County, including but not limited to the cities of Bee Cave, Lakeway, West Lake Hills and Rollingwood.

The 78746 ZIP code, which encompasses West Lake Hills and Lost Creek, has seen the highest number of positive cases in the region with 70 confirmed, as reported by Travis County.
