1. Tax-Free Weekend sale events begin

3. Johnny Lee performs a show at the Omni

5. Worth the trip: Austin Ice Cream Festival serves sweet treats
The 11th annual Austin Ice Cream Festival takes place at the Fiesta Gardens at Lady Bird Lake. 7. Austin performing and visual arts school holds open house
Guests can learn about the Austin School for Performing and Visual Arts programs at an open house.
