If all goes according to plan, western Travis County residents will have two more dining options by this time next year.

The League Kitchen & Tavern to open in Belterra

Revered entrepreneurs in the local restaurant industry, Lake Travis natives Tony Ciola and Creed Ford have pegged a third location for The League Kitchen & Tavern after successes in Avery Ranch and Lakeway. Dripping Springs’ Belterra Village, on Hwy. 290 between Belterra Drive and Nutty Brown Road will be home to the duo’s 4,200-square-foot classic American tavern and pub now under construction.

“I started looking for a personal home in Dripping Springs a couple of years ago and [said], ‘Man, Creed, this area is just on fire; we need to check it out,’” Ciola said. “So we started looking at Dripping Springs and it really matched the profile of what we were looking for when we were growing our restaurant brand—an affluent and growing suburb underserved as far as restaurants go.”

The restaurant, set to open in March or April, will include a bar area with more than 20 beer taps, multiple televisions, a 1,000-square-foot patio and a separate family-friendly dining room, he said.

Tex-Mex concept set for Bee Cave

With two sites already for Tony C’s Italian Coal Fired Pizza & Authentic Italian, including Bee Cave’s Hill Country Galleria, Ciola said he is hoping to add a new restaurant concept within the same shopping center.

“The Tex-Mex restaurant will follow the same model as The League and Tony C’s, possibly opening in the Hill Country Galleria next year,” he said.

Ciola said he credits the teams and patrons of both Tony C's locations in Avery Ranch and Bee Cave with “deliver[ing] their restaurant vision on a daily basis.”
