The 11,000-square-foot library offers multiple different amenities in addition to books, including community programs, public computers and a bookstore.
The library opened in 1985 and was originally part of Lake Travis High School, Library Director Morgan McMillian said. In 2004, a library district was created by the voters to give the library sales tax revenue, she said.
With the funds from sales tax revenue and around $1 million raised from the community, the library was able to open in 2013, she said. 512-263-2885.
