Gymnastics facility moves forward in Bee Cave

Bee Cave City Council on April 23 approved a site and pollution plan permit for AcroTex Gymnastics, a sports facility that will be located on the northeast corner of Hwy. 71 and Vail Divide Drive.

The facility will be situated in the Vail Divide Commercial Subdivision, and the approval requires infrastructure work that includes a driveway, shared parking and utilities, according to a city document.

The property is 1.45 acres, and the building footprint is about 12,000 square feet. City documents state the permits and infrastructure improvements cost $92,200.

City Manager Clint Garza said AcroTeX representatives want to begin construction by July, and now need to work with city staff to coordinate the start of the project.
