West Lake Hills City Council reviewed and approved two applications Wednesday for commercial signs.
One approved application, submitted by Independence Bank, located at 101 Westlake Drive, West Lake Hill, requested variances for two small monument signs and approval of a wall hanging sign, City Planner Ashby Grundman said. Independence Bank shares the building with the Westlake Chamber of Commerce.
The other approved application was a request by Baylor Scott & White Clinic, located at 1001 Westbank Drive, for a monuments sign. The sign will feature tan and brown colors as opposed to the company’s traditional blue and white to better match the city's recommended earth tones, Grundman said.
West Lake Hills City Council also approved a plat amendment for three lots in the Skyline Terrace development at 411 Skyline Drive. The three lots will be combined into two, more developable properties, one of which will be accessible from Redbud Trail.
